Study of CO <sub>2</sub> Sorption Kinetics on Electrospun Polyacrylonitrile‐Based Carbon Nanofibers

Electrospun carbon nanofibers (CNFs) exhibit a decent CO2 sorption capacity and outstanding CO2/N2 selectivity. In this work, the rate as another practically relevant parameter for adsorption is analyzed different carbonization temperatures. Equilibration curves obtained from isotherms are discussed qualitatively quantitatively, employing empirical models pseudo-first- second-order reactions. The constants found to be highly dependent on temperature of CNFs applied pressure during measurement. Furthermore, two distinct processes observed, which attributed sites surface inner volume CNFs.
